It has now been almost 20 years since Orlando Bloom took his first steps in the saga of Lord of the Rings, playing the famous role of Legolas. And for the filming of the Peter Jackson trilogy, the actor (who later rose to prominence for playing Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean) had to undergo intense training to learn archery. This July 24, Orlando Bloom used Instagram to prove that he has not lost his hand. In a video of only a few seconds, Katy Perry’s companion can be seen in a garden, practicing archery. “I still have the technique,” laughs the actor in comment, while he managed to shoot two arrows right on target. “Elf one day, elf always”, answers a subscriber among the slew of Internet users referring to the character of Legolas. It just goes to show that there are skills that cannot be lost!
