2. Bundesliga: Dynamo Dresden wins at Hansa Rostock after fanatic riots

The eastern duel between the two second division promoted Hansa Rostock and Dynamo Dresden was overshadowed by riots by enemy groups of fans. As a spokeswoman for the Rostock police announced, several people were arrested before the kick-off during a major operation. “Pyrotechnics and protective equipment such as denture guards and gloves” were found in controlled Dresden fans.
