While the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games have just closed, the gaze has flown to the edition of Paris 2024 – after only three years – which has already been presented during the Japanese closing ceremony with a live link from the Jardins de Trocadéro, in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower.

The temporary arena for beach volleyball at the 2024 Paris Olympics will be located in the center of the Champs du Mars park, in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower.

A green terrace will be the main feature of the revamped Port de Chapelle Arena, which will host badminton, para-badminton and para-taekwondo at the Paris 2024 Games, and will remain as a public legacy with indoor sports spaces, gyms and event spaces.
Designed by VenhoevenCS and Ateliers 2/3/4 /, the permanent Aquatics Center will be the only new structure built for Paris 2024. Connected by a pedestrian bridge to the Stade de France, it will remain for sports use for the citizens of the area. Saint Denis.

The Champs-Élysées will be the perfect setting for the passage of the marathon course, towards the Arc de Triomphe.
Place de la Concorde, at the entrance to the Champs-Élysées and behind the Jardins de la Tuileries (leading to the Louvre), will host all the spaces and temporary arenas dedicated to the disciplines of freestyle, skateboarding and bmx, around the Obelisk of Cleopatra in the center of the square.
Designed by the studio of architect Dominique Perrault, the Olympic village for athletes will in fact be a new residential district along the Seine, with eco-sustainable construction choices and green and pedestrian spaces.
The Stade de France will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Games, while two separate Aquatics Centers will be built nearby: a smaller one, permanent, and a larger one (about 15,000 seats) which will be temporary.
The historic complex of the Hôtel national de Les Invalides (1679), which also houses the tomb of Napoleon, will be the setting for the archery competition field during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The temporary Grand Palais, the work of the Wilmotte & Associés architecture studio (former authors of the Allianz Riviera project in Nice), will host, for example, the judo competitions in Paris 2024 as well as all the events that were usually held at the historic Grand Palais of the 1897, and which are planned in the two years preceding the Games, while the building is undergoing renovation.
