Washing the warehouse, Inter Milan kicks out 6 more players after releasing Hakimi to PSG

After releasing Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan continued to clean up the warehouse by selling 6 more players, including Ivan Perisic and Arturo Vidal.

INDOSPORT.COM – After releasing Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan continued to clean up the warehouse by selling 6 more players, including Ivan Perisic and Arturo Vidal.

Successfully winning the 2020/2021 Italian Serie A, Inter Milan was actually hit by financial problems. As a result, they were forced to part with one of their mainstay stars, Achraf Hakimi.

The Moroccan right-back was officially sold to Paris Saint-Germain for a total price of 71 million euros (Rp 1.2 trillion), despite only one season with the Nerazzurri.

However, Inter Milan’s efforts to clean up the warehouse in order to overcome their financial problems will not stop. Reported Tuttosport, club management will still sell at least 6 more players.

One name that is said to be one step away from Achraf Hakimi leaving the Giuseppe Meazza is Joao Mario. The Portuguese midfielder will soon leave for Benfica with the two clubs having reached an agreement.

Mario himself last season did not play a role in Inter’s success in winning the Italian Serie A, because he was loaned to Sporting CP for 1 season.

Apart from Mario, several players who did not contribute much to Inter Milan last season were also on the selling list, namely Radja Nainggolan, Valentino Lazaro, and Andrew Gravillon.
