Wout van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) scored the victory this Sunday on the Champs Elysees, the last and traditional final of the Tour de France, where he frustrated the British Mark Cavendish (Deceuninck-Quick Step).

Van Aert conquered his third stage victory on the Tour, second in a row after Saturday’s, and did a great favor to his compatriot Eddy Merckx, as Cavendish was narrowly left, covered in a side without being able to attack, without exceeding his 34 victories.

Meanwhile, the triumphant ride without incident went to Tadej Pogacar (UAE-Team Emirates), Tour champion for the second year in a row, at 22 years old, on a podium at sunset in Paris that he will share with the Danish Jonas Vingegaard (Team Jumbo-Visma ) and the Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz (INEOS Grenadiers). The Spanish improvement, Enric Mas (Movistar Team), sixth overall.
