Ukraine’s first Olympic representatives arrive in Tokyo

The first group of Olympic athletes from Ukraine arrived in Tokyo, Japan, where they will represent our country from July 23 at the Games of the XXXII Olympiad.

According to the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, after going through all the necessary immigration formalities at Tokyo International Airport, verifying documents, passing COVID tests, the Ukrainians went to the Olympic Village, Ukrinform reports.

Thus, the representatives of boxing, judo and archery became the first Ukrainian inhabitants of the Olympic Village.

Olympic athletes stay in comfortable single and double rooms.

Athletes have already visited the dining room, which is open 24 hours a day and offers a wide variety of dishes from various world cuisines.

Today our athletes will have the opportunity to get to know the Olympic Village in more detail and carry out their first training sessions in its territory.

Recall that, at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Ukraine is represented by 157 athletes who will perform in 25 sports (30 disciplines).
