Two Reggio athletes called up for the national team in view of the European Under 15 championships, from 21 to 25 July in Brno (Czech Republic) and Trnava (Slovakia). Defending the blue colors will be Alex Giovanardi (Poviglio Baseball) and Davide Lugli (Palfinger Reggio), included in group B together with Slovakia, Austria and the Netherlands, the latter eliminated by Italy in 2019 in the semifinal of Nettuno. In the other group will be the reigning champions of Germany, as well as the Czech Republic, France and Russia. The goal is to bring the continental title back home and, to better prepare for the event, the group led by manager Roberto De Franceschi will meet in Friuli from 15 to 19 July for a finishing stage. For the two clubs in our province, which just this year have collaborated at a youth level, the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of their work collected.
