AA Gent sees midfielder Niklas Dorsch transfer to Augsburg. The 23-year-old German came to Ghent just a year ago for 3.5 million, but is already delivering double that.
Dorsch was not a basic pawn in Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s team, but was able to put himself in the spotlight in the German U23 team at the European Championship, where they took the title. Augsburg is said to be putting 7 million on the table.
AA Gent was already prepared for Dorsch’s departure. With Julien De Sart and Andrew Hjulsager, it already has two new midfielders in the squad.
