PSG on fire in the transfer market this summer. PSG have already landed Georginio Wijnaldum and Sergio Ramos who were obtained free of charge from Liverpool and Real Madrid respectively because their contracts expired.

PSG has also recruited Achraf Hakimi, a right-wing defender from Inter Milan for 60 million euros or the equivalent of IDR 1 trillion. The AC Milan goalkeeper, whose contract has expired, namely Gianluigi Donnarumma, is also reported to have joined soon with the lure of a large salary.

Reported detikSport from various sources, PSG is not finished. There are two big names being targeted, namely Paul Pogba from Manchester United and Lionel Messi, who is free again after his contract expired on June 30 yesterday.

Paul Pogba is being speculated to be leaving Old Trafford. Given, he will run out of contract at Manchester United in June 2022 and has not extended his contract.

For Lionel Messi, Barcelona is still trying to target the Argentine superstar. Although, Barcelona will work hard to pay his exorbitant salary.

Barcelona’s problem is the financial crisis, especially from the sector of spending player salaries with large numbers. The Spanish League has indeed reduced the salary caps for players for clubs (salary caps), in order to avoid bankruptcy in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Each club is subject to different cuts, depending on their respective financial conditions.

Well, Barcelona has reduced 40 percent of the player’s salary expenditure. Last season, Barcelona were subject to a salary limitation that was only allowed to spend 382 million euros, or around Rp. 6.5 trillion to pay their players.

Now the situation is more complicated, because Barcelona want to re-sign Lionel Messi. Messi’s salary, which is at 71 million Euros per season, will make the club’s spending on player salaries swell again.

PSG certainly has a lot of capital to give Lionel Messi a big salary. Moreover, at PSG there is Neymar who is a close friend of Messi and could be one of the triggering factors to bring in La Pulga.

If Paul Pogba and Lionel Messi join PSG, then coach Mauricio Pochettino will use a 4-3-3 formation.

At the goalkeeper post is Gianluigi Donnarumma. Then at the back four there is Hakimi on the right, Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos at center back, and Bernat on the left.

In midfield there is a trio of Wijnaldum, Verrati and Pogba. Verrati as a defensive midfielder, while Wijnaldum and Pogba can break the deadlock from the second line.

At the attacking trio, there will be Messi on the left, Mbappe in the middle, and Neymar on the right. The three of them can play flexibly swapping positions, because Mbappe has running speed, Nyemar has good technique, and Messi is also diligent in making assists.
