MAZATLÁN._ About 50 students took part in the opening of the Summer Camp Dolphin Academy of Mazatlán 2021, at the facilities of the Benito Juárez Sports Unit.
Those attending the basketball course were divided into three groups of 15 students each, to maintain the established health protocols.
The ages of those enrolled ranged between 5 and 18 years.
In this first week of the camp, the participants assimilated the initial part of the basic fundamentals of burst sport taught by instructors Pablo Andrade Quintero, Miguel Martínez and Pablo Andrade Silva, the latter two with experience in Universiade and collegiate basketball from the United States, respectively.
The camp will run until the 23rd of this month, with hours from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Also invited is coach Josué Ruiz, general director of the Tu Futuro Basketball National Recruitment Program.
In the same way, during the camp there will be a Sports Psychology workshop given by the graduate in this profession, David Torres, and the Physical Activation and Injury Prevention workshop by the therapist Nahomi Ballesteros.
