Ukraine vs England will be presented in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020. Ukraine has several players that should not be underestimated, one of them is Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Ukraine continues to be the dark horse at Euro 2020. They escaped the eye of the needle in Group C, after qualifying for the best third place.

Next in the Euro 2020 quarter-finals, Ukraine will challenge England. The Ukraine vs England duel will take place on Sunday (4/7/2021) at 02.00 WIB at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome.

Andriy Shevchenko, the coach of the Ukrainian national team, blended his team quite brilliantly. No doubt, Shevchenko, who is a living legend of football, was successful as a player and is also a former Ukrainian national team player with the most goals.

Now, one of Ukraine’s mainstay players has the same name as Shevchenko. He is Zinchenko.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is 24 years old and has played for Manchester City since 2017. He plays at left-back which unfortunately is mostly a back-up.

Even so, Andriy Shevchenko still trusts Zinchenko to fill the Ukraine main squad. Interestingly, Zinchenko is not always played in his original position.

Andriy Shevchenko pushed Oleksandr Zinchenko further forward. Zinchenko plays as a central midfielder, in charge of up and down.

The result was satisfactory. Squawka noted, Zinchenko made 15 tackles during this Euro 2020. This number is the highest compared to other players.

Oleksandr Zinchenko himself admitted that Andriy Shevchenko gave full confidence. Zinchenko can play loose, but his main job must be carried out as the first wall of defense.

“I really admire him. He is also a person who is full of warmth and always makes this team excited,” said Zinchenko as quoted from Mirror.

“We are happy to continue to compete in this tournament. We enjoy it and want to give our best,” he concluded.
