On the occasion of the 20 years of the Villares de la Reina Sports Club, the City Council has received a shirt of the new kit from the hands of its president, Francisco Javier Rodríguez Porteros.
The mayor, Ventura Recio; and the Councilor for Sports, Miryam Tobal, have received two members of the board of directors who have delivered a shirt of the new framed kit that will be placed in the Sports and Leisure Center.
The Club Deportivo Villares de la Reina has turned 20 years since its foundation and has wanted to renew its image with a new design for its main kit.
The mayor of Villares de la Reina thanked the delivery of the kit and encouraged the board to continue working so that the youth of Villares de la Reina practice sports with a sporting spirit and seeking “the maximum training in the values that exercise promotes sports”.
For his part, the president of the Sports Club, Francisco Javier Rodríguez, thanked the City Council for the collaboration provided and expressed his wish that all young people who play sports return to normal when the pandemic situation is overcome.
The Councilor for Sports, Miryam Tobal, recalled that the main sports promoted by this Club are football, judo, and rhythmic gymnastics and has insisted on “the need to promote grassroots sport and support it from the institutions.”
The Councilor for Communication and Transparency, Fernando Martínez, explained that the Villares de la Reina Sports Club receives a subsidy of 35,200 euros, the expense of which must be justified each year.
