Beaten Thursday in Malaga, the French dominated the Spanish (80-75) in Paris

The French basketball players won against Spain 80 to 75, Saturday in Paris-Bercy, in a preparation match for the Tokyo Olympics (July 23-August 8), two days after a loss (72-61) against these same Spaniards in Malaga. After these two preparation matches, the Bleues, vice-champions of Europe for the fifth time in a row only two weeks ago in Valence (Spain), will be able to breathe until Tuesday, then continue their preparation in Nanterre until departure for Japan on Friday.

Before starting their Olympic tournament on July 27 against Japan, Endy Miyem’s teammates will play two final preparation matches, against Puerto Rico (20th) and Canada (21st) in Oshino. At the Games in Tokyo, the French are in a group with Japan, Nigeria and especially the United States, six-fold reigning Olympic champions.
