The Alhaurín de la Torre Basketball Club (CBAT) has announced at a press conference its new sports project for the men’s First National team. The councilor for Sports of the municipality, María del Mar Martínez, the president of the CBAT, Juan Pedro Parra, the sports director and future coach of this team, Alejandro Fenoll, and the sponsor and owner of Invermoneda, Javier López, went to the City Council for this presentation. Thus, the club took the opportunity to deliver a gift t-shirt to the mayor, Joaquín Villanova.
This team will be made up of players from Alhaurín and It will be the reflection that with discipline, perseverance and effort it is possible to fight for great successes for the club and the municipality. The president of the CBAT, Juan Pedro Parra, has had words of gratitude for the City Council for the support in each of the activities carried out in the club and has highlighted that he wants this new team to be the reflection of the image and the values that they want to transmit from the computer.
For her part, the Councilor for Sports, María del Mar Martínez, praised the long history of local basketball and conveyed her congratulations on the presentation of this new team. Likewise, he stressed that the CBAT is an entity that bets on and encourages sport with the organization of numerous activities.
The new sponsor and owner of Invermoneda, Javier López, was grateful for having counted on his company and has stressed that it is a “pride” to be part of this project. Finally, the sports director and future coach of the team, Alejandro Fenoll, thanked the City Council for the facilities it offers and pointed out that this team is the example that with effort and perseverance you can be on top. In addition, it has pointed out that the main objective is to promote the quarry.
