Until the next school year in September, we will present the judo clubs of the department which are preparing to welcome all young people, and not so young, practitioners or future followers of martial arts.
The first “falls” took place in Agen in 1946 before the club was created in 1948 and then registered at the prefecture in 1950.
The dojo of the Agen Judo-Club is currently located at the Municipal Stadium in Agen, but it has long taken up residence on the Donnefort site north of Agen. The move took place in 2017 following a municipal desire to create a martial arts center in Agen. Judo remains the flagship discipline of the municipal dojo with many niches and strong municipal support.
The office of the association is currently chaired by Gaël Simoniti.
The JC agenais has 5 teachers: Eric El Rhandour (DEJEPS judo), Teddy De Aguiar (CFEB judo), Alexandre Delhaise (CQP judo), and Vincent Guernine (DEJEPS judo). Each manages all the lessons spread over the week. The Agen Judo-Club has identified 143 licensees during the 2019-2020 season.
