Sports events with spectators are also possible again in Switzerland, meanwhile the fourth corona wave is brewing. How do you deal with that in Gstaad?
Because we are a major event with over 1000 spectators, everyone must have either a Covid certificate or a negative test in order to get into the stadium. As it is prescribed. I am glad we have a vaccination so that something can return to normal.
Do you see these conditions for admission as a viable option for the future?
Absolutely. Whether you want to be vaccinated or not is everyone’s responsibility. But I would be wrong to punish us organizers because some people refuse. I think the current federal solution is good.
