The summer program organized by the Concello de Sobrado is nourished by very different sports activities, as well as the XV edition of the Da da Bici or from Vern playroom

The registration period ends this Friday, July 2, so youth between 4 and 15 years old from Sobrado dos Monxes who want to participate in the sports activities in Sobrado must walk fast. The program begins with traditional games on July 6 and 8, water sports on days 13 and 15, Olympics on 20 and 22 and, to close the month, water games on 27 and 29. August continues with skate games on days 3 and 5, football on 10 and 12 and a badminton tournament on 17. In addition, the whole family will be able to attend a game day on August 18 and judo on August 21 of that same month.
Bicycle lovers should also hurry up to sign up for the Da da Bici de Sobrado, since they have until July 9 to go to the municipal offices to register. The celebration, aimed at athletes of all ages, will take place on August 8 at eleven in the morning, in the Plaza del Concello.
In order to promote family conciliation in these vacation months, the City Council starts the Vern playroom for the youngest, from 3 to 12 years old. From July 1 to August 31, very different types of activities will take place, with the aim that the girl is educated in equality and continues to expand her knowledge in areas such as the environment, culture or sports, as explained by the mayor of Sobrado, Lisardo Santos.
