Roma: a former Rennais on the shelves

Victim of a ruptured Achilles tendon during the victory of Italy against Belgium (2-1) in the quarter-finals of the Euro, Leonardo Spinazzola will be unavailable for an estimated period of at least six months. To compensate for his absence, AS Rome is looking for a new left side. New coach José Mourinho has thought of Marcelo (Real Madrid), but the file is complicated (see the news of Sunday 4/07). The Louve club has therefore activated another track.

According to information from Sky Italia, the Giallorossi are thinking of Ramy Bensebaini (26 years old, 33 games and 7 goals in all competitions for the 2020-2021 season). The former Rennais is currently under contract until 2023 with Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he has achieved solid performances since his arrival in 2019.
