PSG: Rico wants to leave the club

With the expected arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma at the end of the Euro, Paris Saint-Germain will find themselves with no less than nine goalkeepers under contract. Unsurprisingly, the Italian rookie will compete for a starting place with the brilliant Keylor Navas, leaving little scope for the other goalkeepers present in the capital, in particular Sergio Rico (27 years old, 10 games in L1 for the 2020-2021 season).

Considered number 2 last year, the Spaniard will therefore move back in the hierarchy. An untenable situation in the eyes of the former member of Sevilla FC who will now demand a summer departure, announces the newspaper L’Equipe. Logically, the Parisians should not retain Rico in the event of a satisfactory offer. The experienced Alexandre Letellier, recently extended until 2022, also seems to have left for the role of third goalkeeper.
