The first edition of the Chipilo 2021 Trail Run will be run on August 22 at the distances of five and 10 kilometers within the men’s and women’s arms, after the presentation of the competition on Tuesday at a press conference.
The event, according to the organizers led by Gilbert Solliman and Daniel Piz; in addition to the municipal president of San Gregorio Atzompa, Avelino Merlo; that of Chipilo Carlos Minutti and José Juan Jiménez García, general director of Mistertennis, intends to bring together a thousand runners from the region and the entire state with the pleasure of practicing the sport in a place that owns multiple attractions.
“It is a simple Trail with which we want the family to do sports and see that, a few meters from the road, you can see very representative places for Chipilo such as the Convent, the cornfields, the crops and the point that we Chipileños know like La Grapa ”, highlighted Daniel Piz.
Runners, it should be noted, will be given a mouth guard in their competition package; in addition to the official shirt, number, participation medal and chip for the electronic chronometer. All this will be distributed on Saturday the 21st in the Zócalo de Chipilo from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The first to see the track on Sunday August 22 will be the participants of 10 Kilometers, leaving these from 08.00; 25 minutes later they will do the five.
Those who run the 10 km will face an altimetry of 90 meters; 70 for five. All this to offer a physical challenge to the participants or runners.
THE CATEGORIES
It should be noted, the two branches in the distances of five and 10 km will boast of free category (15-39 years) and master (40 years and more).
The winners of the 10 Kilometers within the free class will be given an economic prize of 2,500 pesos, first place; 1,500, second; thousand, third. In the master, 1,500 will be distributed, first; thousand, second; 500 for third place.
In the five kilometers, the free race will give the winner 2 thousand; 1,500, second; thousand to the third. One thousand to the winner of the master, 700 to the second and 400 to the third place.
The reports to compete will be given through the Facebook profile, Chipilo Trail. Registrations presume a cost of 350 pesos and are open from Tuesday, registrations are made in all Mistertennis stores in Puebla and Atlixco or online through the page www.strunning.com.
