Premier League Transfer Recap: Manchester United Get Jadon Sancho, Chelsea Leave Victor Moses

Majority of clubs Premier League Haven’t made many returns yet. However, most of them are more active in releasing their players, be it sales, loan repayments, or contract expiration.

Arsenal for example, officially released David Luiz after his contract expired. The Gunners have also returned Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard to Real Madrid, while Matthew Ryan, on loan, has also returned to Brighton.

Chelsea, which last season was so active in bringing in players, this time tended to be passive. They have officially released a number of players.

Fikayo Tomori was eventually sold to AC Milan for 29.2 million euros. While Victor Moses was bought by Spartak Moscow for 5 million euros ‘only’.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have lost Georginio Wijnaldum for free because his contract expired. Manchester City sold Angelino to RB Leipzig for a transfer fee of 18 million euros, but failed to keep Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia who decided to leave for Barcelona on a free transfer.

Manchester United also officially released Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira on a free transfer. Both goalkeepers decided not to renew their contracts at Old Trafford.

As for the inauguration of Jadon Sancho to Manchester United, it is only a matter of time. He has even told his England teammates that he will be joining Old Trafford this summer.
