Pergamino Básquet defeated All Boys and went to the next round

Julián Pagura’s team won 75-66 against the Pampean team and reached the quarterfinals of the Federal Basketball Tournament. In the next round, he will meet Estudiantes, Unión and Zárate.

Pergamino Básquet had to wait until the last day of the homerun in the round of 16 to find out his future in the Federal Basketball Tournament, where he had to face the homeowner, All Boys de La Pampa.

The game started typical of a final, with a lot of nervousness and intensity.

Franco Zalabardo was a nightmare the first few minutes as, from the perimeter, he became intractable. Benjamín Levato with his pitches and Pablo Moya in the painted area were the keys to Pergamino Básquet that won the first quarter 21 to 20.

The second ten minutes was a very erratic parchment team although they managed to adjust in defense. On the closing of the quarter, the collective game of the whole of our city appeared and managed to go at halftime 36 to 32.

The third quarter was a concert of errors led by Julián Pagura who could not find his way to the game during. Only in the last minutes did he have a slight reaction with Leonardo Tortonesi although he went down 54 to 52.

Goal by goal, with a lot of intensity, that’s how the whole last period was. Tomas Zanzottera took the reins of Pergamino Básquet’s offensive. A triple by Mateo Bolívar, with 40 seconds to go, gave a reassuring difference to our city as a whole, which closed the game favorably 75-66.

Final, celebration and relief for the pargaminense group. The four teams from the Buenos Aires Division (Zárate, Unión and Estudiantes, in addition to Pergamino) will be measured again in the Quarterfinals, where two qualify, and the rest will remain on the road. But that will be another story, just in a few days.
