Author of an elaborate, conservative and very confident tennis, Pablo Carreño, winner of six titles in his sports career and winner of the Davis Cup in 2019, reached the semifinals of a Grand Slam twice. Both at the US Open, in 2017 and in 2020, where he was eliminated by the last German tennis player he faced on hard court: Alexander Zverev, against whom he collapsed after winning the first two sets (3-6, 2- 6, 6-3, 6-4 and 6-3).
