In the same first inning, the Phillies scored the first with a home run by Jean Segura and in the second they hit again with a home run near Alec Bohm with one on board.

Although the Red Sox tried to react, an 8-race rally in the top of the eighth sentenced the compromise.

The Phillies finished with 11 runs to two from Boston and took the win in the second of the series.
