(Buffalo) Dylan Moore hit a three-run homerun in 10 and the Seattle Mariners defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 9-7 on Wednesday.
Luis Torrens was already on the trails. Shed Long took a single in the infield and Moore hit his seventh homer of the season against Patrick Murphy (0-1).
Cavan Biggio responded with a one-run double. Drew Steckenrider then calmed things down, securing a second save.
He struck out Lourdes Gurriel at bat, Reese McGuire on a ball and Marcus Semien on a candle.
Moore and JP Crawford each accommodated three balls to safety, among the Mariners’ 13 hits.
Kyle Seager was struck out three times, but he also slammed a 14e circuit.
Gurriel was the star player for the Jays with a solo homerun, a run single and a sacrifice ball.
Gurriel, Biggio, Bo Bichette, George Springer and Randal Grichuk all hit two hits.
Teoscar Hernandez was less successful, going 0 in 5. He was six in 13 in his three previous games.
The win went to reliever Kendall Graveman (2-0).
