The Plaza de la Marina in Malaga has hosted a fantastic day full of the best basketball. 307 players, 82 teams and more than 1,000 visitors have participated in this third edition of Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank.

The Marina Square de Málaga has been filled with enthusiasm and passion for basketball with the arrival of Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank. 307 registered, 82 teams and more than 1,000 visitors have enjoyed a fantastic day that prepares the Andalusian city to receive the men’s and women’s teams this Thursday, July 8, in the two games against France that will be played at the Martín Carpena.

The day began around 10:00 in the morning and from there, the different categories have been contested. With the arrival of noon, the first finals began and around 4:00 p.m., the participants witnessed the act of authorities and the different shooting and skills competitions organized by the FEB ambassador, Fernando Romay.

All the activity has been carried out in strict accordance with health protocols, so that the well-being of all participants and visitors has been ensured. The Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank circuit will soon confirm its next stops after the successes of the last two events in Valencia and Castellón to which the great day lived this Saturday in Malaga is now added.

The event has had the support of the Malaga City Council, the Malaga Provincial Council and the Andalusian Government. Likewise, the day would not have been possible without the participation of a team of 25 volunteers, assigned to the FEB-CaixaBank Volunteer Program.
