Luka Doncic’s mind-blowing stat with Slovenia

Already monstrous with Dallas in the regular season, Luka Doncic has decided to lend a hand to his national team for the Olympic Games. After winning the TQO hands down, it is clear that the Mav has not given up. He even has a crazy stat in the Slovenian jersey!

Playing nearly 80 games in six months was clearly not enough for Luka Doncic. The superstar therefore wanted to add a layer: to secure Slovenia’s ticket for the Olympics, during the Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Mission accomplished, the ROY 2019 even finishing MVP of the competition! By the way, he managed to maintain a completely crazy series in the national team:

Slovenia are still undefeated in international competitions in which Luka Doncic has participated. The superstar has won all of his 13 matches for the national team.

No matter which team he plays with, El Matador seems to turn everything he touches to gold. Having regularly faced his last three years with the Spurs, Gregg Popovich also wanted to pay him a vibrant tribute. The head coach of Team USA did not mince words when discussing his case, at a press conference:

He’s a spectacular player, as we all know. He’s one of the best players in the world, and I insist, in the world. He showed up very early in Europe, and he had a quick education in the NBA, that’s for sure. It is fun to watch. His skills, his competitiveness, his size, his innate basketball IQ are impressive.

If you put four hard working people around it, you get a hell of a team, and that’s what they’ve got. They are also aggressive, they perform well, the management staff are very committed, everyone wants to win, and no one wants to win more than Luka. I’m sure he’s very happy at the moment and will continue to compete at a high level without a doubt.

If the Dragons will not have it easy in the group stage (the same group as Spain and Argentina), Luka and his teammates can still hope to make some progress in Tokyo. For that, it will be necessary at least to qualify among the best third of the pools. In view of the fairly underestimated workforce around the Golden Boy, this remains a completely conceivable goal.

If Luka Doncic does at the Tokyo Games what he did with the Mavs, we could see some monstrous performances. We sincerely hope for a clash with France, or even Team USA!
