‘Los Medallistas’, the bio-soap opera about 3 Colombian athletes | THE UNIVERSAL

A new production will arrive to make Colombians fall in love.

It is about ‘Los Medallistas’, a Caracol Channel bio-soap opera that will show the triumphs and sacrifices of three important athletes in the country: Ingrit Valencia, Yuri Alvear and Óscar Luis Muñoz, the latter being a participant in the 2021 Challenge.

“Viewers will be able to learn a little more about these athletes, who must work hard every day to achieve their great goal: to reap a successful career and especially to reach the podium. With The medalists, viewers will learn how the talent that leads to success is polished and three warriors who do not rest until they get to the podium are trained, ”explained the directors of Caracol Televisión.

Although no release date is known yet, the series will have a great cast. Paola Valencia, José Ramón Barreto and Mayra Luna, are the actors who will give life to the athletes in the production.

Paola Valencia will be the one who will play the boxer Ingrid Lorena Valencia, José Ramón Barreto will be Óscar Luis Muñoz, better known as Olímpico and who was responsible for representing Colombia in two Olympic games; and Mayra Luna is Yuri Alvear, one of the most recognized and admired athletes in all of Colombia in judo.

Surely this series will manage to conquer the hearts of viewers with its stories.
