For the Polish naturalized Italian center Jakub Wojciechowski, who arrived from Biella basketball, a new adventure in LBA is ready with the VL Pesaro, after finishing the season with 2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.
Jakub Wojciechowski’s career
The Lodz native grew up in the youth academy of Benetton Treviso. At the 2009 Under 19 national finals, he contributed to the winning of the league title by the team Brand.
After starting the 2009-2010 season inAssigeco Casalpusterlengo averaging 6.1 points per game in 15 minutes of use, on 28 January 2010 he was sold to Basket Brescia Leonessa, the team in which he made his debut on January 30 in the derby against Tezenis Verona, scoring 8 points.
In the following summer he participates with Poland in the European U20 and, also following the good performances provided, he is permanently included in the Benetton roster for the 2010-11 season. For him the season reserves 30 matches on the scoresheet of which 20 actually played, with 58 points scored and 21 rebounds conquered.
In February 2012 it was signed byEnel Brindisi of coach Piero Bucchi, which to make up for the departure of Mitchell Poletti has chosen to focus on the young Pole.
On 9 August 2012 he moved to the PMS Torino in the first season in Turin he scored 601 points in 41 games with 366 rebounds. At the end of the season comes the victory of the National Division A which is worth the title of Italian Amateur Champions and promotion in Legadue.
On 8 July 2015 Wojciechowski signs a contract for the 2015-16 season with Cantù basketball. On 30 June 2016 he exits the contract by signing on 5 July of the same year with the Vanoli Cremona.
On 2 July 2018, Wojciechowski returns to the New Basket Brindisi.
On January 15, 2021 he signs a contract until the end of the season with the Olimpia Milan basketball.
