It is the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world and regularly attracts royals and celebrities: some celebrities are visiting Wimbledon again this year. In addition to superstar Tom Cruise, a royal fan is also returning to the stands.
Duchess Kate and Prince William watched the Wimbledon women’s finals together. The 39-year-old had previously been in corona isolation after apparently having had contact with an infected person. Kate seemed to be able to enjoy the tennis game all the more. Pictures showed her smiling in a green, short-sleeved dress in the stands of the tournament while she watched the match between Ashleigh Barty and Karolina Pliskova.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the Duchess of Cambridge could appear in the men’s final without her husband being accompanied. Prince William is expected at Wembley Stadium, where England will face Italy in the final of the European Football Championship.
The Wimbledon tennis tournament is still popular with the stars of show business. Today, Saturday, Tom Cruise was one of the prominent guests in the stands. The “Mission Impossible” star chose an elegant blue suit to which he combined a tie in silver to attend the event.
According to British media reports, the celebrities who showed up on the spot also included Cruise’s colleague Hayley Atwell, British singer Katherine Jenkins and acting legend Maggie Smith.
