The draw for the first round of the Swiss Cup (from 13 to 15 August 2021) took place on Wednesday. The French-speaking Super League will visit second-league clubs.
Lausanne-Sport will have the shortest trip since the Vaudois will face FC Echichens. For Servette, the trip will not be much longer, the Genevans will go to Saint-Prex to face FC Amical. Finally Sion will have to cross the country to get to Basel-Campagne to face Bubendorf.
2nd league teams are also waiting for the Romands of the Challenge League: Yverdon-Sport will go to Seuzach (ZH) and Neuchâtel Xamax will go to Lachen (SZ) to face FC Lachen / Altendorf.
Finally, the most difficult trip came to Stade Lausanne Ouchy, which will travel to the canton of St. Gallen to play against FC Rapperswil-Jona, resident of the Promotion League.
