Euro penalties arouse the worst nightmares in English football

LondonFootball has put the focus on the egg of the snake or, rather, on the egg of the scorpions: flat and short, the worst of a poisoned sector of the English fans. Without naming them directly, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday referred in these terms to the sick of racism who, immediately after the end of the European Championship, filled social media with messages of hatred against the internationals – all black – who missed three penalties in the dramatic round against Italy: Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) and Bukayo Saka (Arsenal).
