Escobar sealed victory for the D-backs with his 21st homer

After his first appearance in the All-Star Game, Eduardo Escobar is ready to continue rowing for his D-backs. This was demonstrated this Sunday in Arizona’s 6-4 victory over the Chicago Cubs.

In the eighth inning, the Venezuelan went to the street against the left-handed Rex Brothers to put the scoreboard 6-2 and drive in the two runs that would end up making the difference.

The scoreboard was 6-2, but the Cubs tried to come back in the ninth and made a couple of scores, but Escobar had already put in definitive numbers.

The de la Pica finished 3-1 with two walks, two RBIs and three runs scored.

Escobar hit 21 homers this season, the third highest harvest of his career, surpassed only by 23 in 2018 and 35 in 2019.
