England defeated Denmark with controversy and got into the final

With a disputed penalty that Schmeichel saved, but Kane converted on the rebound, Team de la Rosa won 2-1 at extra time. On Sunday, against Italy, they will play the decisive match of the Euro for the first time in their history.

Damsgaard, from a free kick, scored the 1-0, but Kjaer, against, and Kane reversed the actions. On Sunday, the British team will face Italy at Wembley in search of their first title in this competition.

In the first half, the protagonist of the game was Denmark. He managed to control the ball and leave an unknown England unanswered. Damsgaard’s brilliant goal, 29 minutes into that opening stage, did justice to the scoreboard.

The disadvantage woke up the Team de la Rosa, who went with everything in search of equality and achieved it just nine minutes later: Bukayo Saka reached the bottom from the left, put the center in the middle and Kjaer, in his attempt to avoid For Raheem Sterling to convert, he ended up tucking her inside his own arc.

In the complement, the Danish national team seemed determined to repeat what he had done in the first half. However, with the passing of the minutes the English team was cornering him and putting against his own goal.

Despite the dominance, those of Gareth Southgate could never find the formula to break the last Danish line and the 90 minutes ended on parity.

Already in the initial stage of overtime it was clear that the local wanted to avoid penalties and that the Danes used all their energy to withstand the attacks. Schmeichel was once again key with two brilliant covers and became the only reason his team did not lose. But finally, his stamina was not enough.

In a controversial decision, referee Danny Makkelie called a foul in the area on Sterling, which was validated by the VAR and Harry Kane took over the execution. The Danish goalkeeper again showed off and blocked the shot but the Tottenham striker captured the rebound and did not forgive. Thus the score was put 2 to 1 for the British.

Despite attempts with more drive than football, Denmark never found answers and the match ended with the English team dominating the ball and playing in front of their 52,000 fans.

Next Sunday, England will play the final of the European Championship for the first time in their history. It will be against Italy, from 4pm, in front of their people at the legendary Wembley Stadium.
