Italy and England are playing for the European title tonight. The final at Wembley Stadium promises to be a big game. Here you can see where it is being transmitted.

Today the time has come: In the evening the final of the European Championship Italy against England will take place. According to official figures, 6619 Tifosi will be at Wembley Stadium. Compared to 58,000 English fans who will cheer for their Three Lions. According to the information, a total of 67,500 spectators are allowed in the 90,000-seat arena.

The game is whistled by the Dutch referee Björn Kuipers, 48. The experienced top referee is supported by the German video assistant Bastian Dankert, 41. For Kuipers it is the fourth appearance at this European Championship. He is the first Dutchman to whistle a European Championship final.

The final can be seen on ZDF on free-to-air television. Kick-off is at 9 p.m. Like all games in this European Championship, Magenta TV will also broadcast the final for a fee over the Internet. Oliver Schmidt comments on ZDF. The 49-year-old sports reporter – and not the more experienced Béla Réthy – sits behind the microphone for the public TV broadcaster. Julia Metzner is also experiencing a premiere. The 47-year-old radio reporter will be the first woman to comment on a big football final for ARD.
