Despite the keen interest from Chelsea, striker Erling Hland (21 years old, 41 games and 41 goals in all competitions for the 2020-2021 season) has left to spend an additional season at Borussia Dortmund. This is his own opinion (see here), but also that of the future sports director of the BvB, Sebastian Kehl. The leader has spoken a lot with Mino Raiola, Hland’s agent, in recent days in connection with the transfer of Donyell Malen (see here) and he has heard no word suggesting a departure of the Norwegian.
“Will Hland stay this summer? Yes. In discussions with Raiola for Malen, I didn’t feel like we had to see each other again about Hland. We don’t want to abandon him,” he reiterated. ‘German in comments relayed by Bild.
