Complaint for psychological violence seeks that Emiliano Martínez does not play fine Brazil vs Argentina | National teams

In Colombia, some are still far from turning the page of the defeat against Argentina, in the definition by penalties, in an intense duel for the semifinal of the Copa América 2021.

The National Supervisory Network, the same one that filed a tutelage against Néstor Pitana after the defeat against Brazil in the first phase of the tournament, returns to the charge and has now filed a disciplinary complaint with the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) against Emiliano Martínez , Argentine goalkeeper, for psychological violence.

“This derived from the recognized irregularities committed within the arbitration and collection of penalties that were mediated by insults, vulgarities and in general what has been called symbolic violence,” said Pablo Bustos, in statements quoted by the newspaper El Heraldo.

“That is not the cause of the loss of the match, but an irregular unsportsmanlike act that should have resulted in the sanctions of a yellow card, warning and immediate expulsion of the Argentine goalkeeper,” he explained.

The plaintiff’s intention is for Conmebol to undertake disciplinary actions that prevent the goalkeeper from playing in the final this Saturday, at the Maracana stadium, in Brazil. And not only that, because a suspension is also required for the Venezuelan referee, Jesús Valenzuela, for not having warned and even expelled the goalkeeper.
