The Chilean basketball team announced on Thursday its final roster of 12 players to face the second phase of the Prequalification for the FIBA World Cup Philippines-Japan-Indonesia 2023, which will be played at the Santiago Olympic Training Center (CEO).
In the Red stand out eight players who are active in foreign leagues, such as Spain, the United States, Germany and Bulgaria. The trans-Andean people are preparing their best element to debut on Tuesday July 13 (10:15 PM HB) against Bolivia, a cast directed by Giovanny Vargas. The day will be opened that same day by Nicaragua and Paraguay (19:00 HB).
The best two of this second phase will agree to play Division A of FIBA Americas and where they will compete against the best teams on the continent.
In the case of Chile and Paraguay, both fight in this pre-qualifying window with the idea of staying in Division A; Bolivia and Nicargua aim to rise to the basketball elite.
