From 2009 to today, however, I have been able to make all my dreams come true: to play a game in the first team; see the PalaTrieste return full; become captain of my hometown team; bring Trieste back to the championship it deserves and raise, not one, but 2 cups, with this shirt.
I remember every single presence. B2, B1, A2 or A1 makes no difference. I felt this shirt on me like a second skin, trying to honor it at all times, on and off the pitch, with all my limitations and flaws. I tried to be a good teammate, at the service of others, to make them feel, like me, at home.
Unfortunately, sometimes even the longest and most passionate love stories don’t last forever. I expect new adventures, basketball and professional, where I hope to be able to involve my red and white family. There are so many people I have to thank, too many to mention them all in one post, so I hope I can do it in front of you all one day!
