The Portuguese coach, Eduardo Almeida, officially introduced Arema FC for the 2021 Liga 1
INDOSPORT.COM – Arema FC coach, Eduardo Almeida, confirmed that he was being professional for his policy of bringing two players from the same club in Portugal.
The first name is Adilson Aguero Dos Santos aka Maringa. The Brazilian goalkeeper was recruited from UD Vilafranquense, Portugal’s Liga 2 contestant last season.
After that, Eduardo Almeida also brought another player from UD Vilafranquense, namely Carlos Manuel Dos Santos Fortes. He will be plotted as the target man.
“My choice to recruit Maringa and Carlos Fortes was based on the needs of this team,” said Eduardo Almeida to the media crew, Monday (12/7/21).
He also admitted that the closeness of football culture helped the realization of the transfer. In terms of language to adaptation, it will clearly make it easier for foreign players to choose in Liga 1 2021.
“What is clear, I am very optimistic about these two players to be able to help this team as we all hope,” continued Almeida.
