Excellent results come from the young boys ofASD Judo Bra Center who took part in the Esordienti national finals on 3 and 4 July.
Trained by Maestro Antonio Carnebianca, the 4 boys had qualified for the national teams by winning the regional qualifications 2 weeks earlier, all ranking first in the region.
The finals took place at the federal sports hall in Ostia, home of the Italian Judo national team, where the young judokas competed against the best athletes in their category from all over Italy. Excellent was undoubtedly the performance of Cavaglià Marika who, winning 4 out of 5 matches, qualified in 2nd place, winning the title of vice-champion of Italy in the -57kg category, giving way to the final due to a small initial distraction. Not least was the race of Macis Jennifer, ranked 5th in the -52kg category, who reached the semifinals of the pool by winning 3 matches, then losing to the winner of the category and narrowly missing the final for third place. The guys too, Moramarco Francesco and Vitale Simone, who the day before qualified respectively in 7th and 9th place in the -73kg and -60kg categories, winning two out of four matches.
An excellent result for the Braidese sports association that for years has competed nationally with children of all ages, highlighting the excellent work done over time by Maestro Carnebianca and his collaborators who train children and teenagers every day in their headquarters. from 3 years of age. Further recognition must be given to these guys who managed to bring home these results by not being able to train at their best due to the sports facilities that have been closed for more than a year. In fact it is to be admired that these judokas with only 3 months of training, after almost a year of stop from sports, still manage to emerge at these levels.
As decided by the federation, this race will be repeated in November with the Italian Beginners Championship, where the boys from Bra will get back into the game trying to further improve the results obtained.
