Cologne (SID) – Basketball cup winner Bayern Munich caught a difficult program at the start of the EuroLeague season. On September 30th (8:05 p.m. / MagentaSport), the team of coach Andrea Trinchieri will travel to the prelude to the Israeli record champions Maccabi Tel Aviv, before the home hit against FC Barcelona on October 7th (8:30 p.m.). This is followed by three away games in a row against Unics Kazan, Zenit St. Petersburg and Zalgiris Kaunas.
Munich was the first German team to reach the EuroLeague playoffs last season. There they narrowly failed in the quarter-finals at the top Italian club Armani Milan, which Bayern will meet again for the first time on October 26th. Two days later there will be the first German EuroLeague duel of the season with Alba Berlin.
