In a particular conception of the expression “if the mountain does not go to Muhammad, Muhammad goes to the mountain”, Barça has mounted a traveling museum which opens this weekend in Tel Aviv (Israel), will continue in the United Arab Emirates three months from now and will continue to other countries, for all Catalans who cannot travel to Barcelona and visit the Camp Nou. That there have been thousands, millions, for the pandemic, and there will be millions who will never be able to afford it.

That is why the Barça club has created Barça the Exhibition, an exhibition space of 1,500 square meters that tries to reproduce the Catalan immersion that is experienced in the real museum of the stadium with the simulation of areas such as the changing room tunnel or the 360-degree surrounding installation that allows the visitor to imagine that he is on the grass. The traveling museum was conceived and built (in Bilbao) during the months of the pandemic.

The exhibition, divided into nine rooms, contains reproductions of the main trophies, T-shirts and dozens of historical objects, the most emblematic. The starting point is Israel for the numerous Barcelona colony and for being one of the countries with the lowest incidence of covid-19 due to the massive vaccination of the population. It will be inaugurated by the president Joan Laporta and the former Barcelona stars who play for Barça Legends and who, also in Israel, will face Real Madrid in a veterans’ classic that will feature the first participation of Luis Figo. White dress, of course.
