ATP – Hamburg> Tsitsipas, the earth as a remedy

Two weeks after his elimination from entry to Wimbledon, Stefanos Tsitsipas regained his colors on German clay in Hamburg, an ATP 500 classified tournament. The Greek, who has the opportunity to overtake Rafael Nadal in the standings in the event of a final victory, won against the local and tough Dominik Koepfer, 59e world player: 7–6 (2), 6–3 in 1h45 of play.

Very solid on his faceoff, as he is now used to (30 points won out of 35 behind his first ball, 13 out of 26 for the second), the number one seed has never panicked despite the many break opportunities (3 out of 14). A perfectly mastered start for Stefanos who will be opposed to Serbian Filip Krajinovic for a place in the last four.
