Arsenal star Willian causes ridicule and mockery on social networks. The offensive player does not come out of the summer break in good shape.
When looking at the 32-year-old, many “Gunners” fans saw the 1: 2 friendly defeat against the Scottish first division club Hibernians as a minor matter. Willian – actually an arrow-fast wing racer – dragged himself across the square with a few pounds too much.
Photos of the professional footballer quickly made the rounds on social networks. Again and again Willian was compared with real star Eden Hazard, who is already known for being overweight after summer vacation. The Belgian had already appeared after his move to the Madrilenians with a few pounds too much on his ribs.
“I think Willian is on the Eden Hazard Diet,” commented one whimsically on the photos. It shows the 32-year-old in the tight-fitting Arsenal jersey. A small tummy is clearly visible. No wonder the Arsenal star was replaced after one half.
In his current form, it will be difficult for the Brazilian to win the hearts of Arsenal fans. Willian only had one goal in 25 games in his debut season wearing the Gunners’ dress …
