Archery, the story of the weekend that saw the Club Lido Archers as protagonists
Double date for Archers Club Lido in the past weekend, with important results and excellent placings, in fact the sports team of the Lido district was involved in the field of Maida and in the Campania region of Roccapiemonte where the local Rocca San Quirico company operates. The transfer of the Catanzaro company to Campania it was chosen by the athletes to honor the local team of Rocca San Quirico and to Massimo Boccara, an excellent host, to whom the team is particularly sporting since the coach Demasi Pasquale is the coach of the Campania club youth sector.
In the 72-arrow plate race held in Campania in Roccapiemonte, the team took home two gold medals, one by Demasi Pasquale in the Olympic Master and one by Demasi Maria in the Senior Compound. In Maida, in the Nicolazzo stadium the junior Compounds and the Secretary of the company Serafino Valentino take the stage, in a race on 36 arrows with final clashes for the award of gold. The youth team made up of Valentino Elena, Chiarella Vittoria Veneta and Poerio Piterà Anastasia, score a total of 832 points which, pending approval, should become an Italian team record. In the class ranking at the end of individual clashes, Chiarella Vittoria wins gold, Valentino Elena silver and Bronze goes to Anastasia Poerio Piterà. But the confirmation of the excellent sporting state of the team is the result of Valentino Serafino, who, after the victory in the semifinal, arrives in the final where with the final 6 to 4 climbs on the top step of the podium with a well deserved gold.
Satisfied the mister Poerio Piterà Edoardo for the sporting result of the team, in fact, he adds: “We work constantly with all our archers, we plan teams and study sports strategies, which, in recent years have always seen us as undisputed protagonists in the regional and national sports scenario”.
