Alessio Neri confirmed as Assistant Coach of the first team and Head of the youth sector of BPC Virtus Cassino

BPC Virtus Cassino announces that it has reached an agreement for the renewal, on a two-year basis, of the agreement for the assignment of the role of Assistant Coach of the first team and Head of the youth sector, with Alessio Neri, who already last year sportsman, 2020-21, had held the same positions in the roster of the technical staff of the Cassinate club.

Born on October 25, 1988, Alessio began his career in the world of basketball in 2009, when he took on the role of instructor of the mini-basketball of Basket Damaso 2000.
He remained in the Roman team until 2012, and from 2010 to 2014 he simultaneously took on the role of head coach of SERIE D, U13 REG, U18 elité, U20 REG and mini-basketball instructor of Libertas Roma.
In the 2013-14 season he is also in Vigna Pia, where he is the coach and physical trainer of the first team, militant in the Serie C Silver regional championship.
From 2014 to 2017 he moved to another Roman team, this time in the famous Eurobasket Roma club, where he is head coach of the U13 Elite, assistant coach of the U15 Elite, assistant coach of the U15 Excellence and instructor Minibasket ESORDIENTI and EAGLES.
In 2015 he also obtained a master’s degree in motor science with 110/110 honors.
From 2016 he became a trainer and teacher at the minibasket instructor courses for the Italian Basketball Federation and in 2017-18 he was in Anzio where he was in charge of the Minibasket sector, U13 and U18 REG Coach, U16 Excellence Assistant and Assistant of the first militant team in the C championship. Last two stages of his career, before joining the rossoblù jersey, at Smit Roma and Petriana. For Virtus Cassino will continue to follow the young rossoblù cassinati athletes in their basketball growth, but will continue to support coach Vettese in the management and technical management of the first team that will take part in the next Serie B 2021/22 championship.
