Berlin – The basketball Bundesliga will start the 2021/22 season with an official opening game. The master Alba Berlin then meets the Telekom Baskets Bonn, as BBL managing director Stefan Holz told the German press agency on Thursday. The game is scheduled to take place on September 23 or 24 in the Berlin Arena at Ostbahnhof.
In the future, like in the Bundesliga, the defending champion will always open the new season. In addition, a colorful supporting program is planned for the start of the new season.
