2. Interreg Team Competition U17 in Luxembourg – Welcome to the Judo Club Bad Ems 1971 eV

At the weekend some Bad Emser judoka went to the 2nd Interreg Team Competition U17 in Strassen in Luxembourg. The 60 participating judoka fought in eight different teams (each marked with a colored belt). After the team fights, there was a grand finale for the two best teams in each group before the well-deserved lunch break.

After lunch, the second block started with a training session and lots of randori. In addition to the Interreg partners from Luxembourg, Grand-Est (France), Saarland and the Palatinate, guests from LV Thuringia and Düsseldorf also started.

For the JCBE there were: Arlette Junge and Éliane Junge (all JC Bad Ems). The teams were looked after by the coaches Patrick Alberti (Worms) and Lea Fedorov. Carl Eschenauer acted as referee.

Many thanks to the Interreg Judo Cooperation around Tom Schmit, Wolfgang Amoussou and Sylvie Bach who once again organized a great event.
