Having made the playoffs in the EuroLeague this season, Zenit St. Petersburg extended Alex Poythress’ contract. He signed a new 1-year contract with the Russian team Poythress.
Alex Poythress, who also played for Galatasaray in our country last season, agreed with the Russian team at the beginning of the season. Alex Poythress played 32 games in the EuroLeague with Zenit this season and averaged 8.6 points – 4.3 rebounds – 0.5 assists. The American player averaged 9.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in VTB.
Zenit had previously extended Mateusz Ponitka’s contract. The Russian team transferred Jordan Loyd and Sergey Karasev.
